Here's more about my qualifications/experience:

I am a highly experienced birth doula and postpartum doula.

As a birth doula, I specialize in Bradley births, home births, natural births and/or Christian births.

I have attended several DONA International Conferences in order to enhance my skills and techniques as a doula. I have also attended two accredited DONA Doula Trainings in order to further my knowledge of the physiology of birth and the use of comfort techniques for birth.

As a postpartum doula I assist families as they transition into their roles as parents.

In addition to my role as a doula, I can assist with aspects of breastfeeding as I am also a La Leche League leader.

Here's more about my doula practice:

As a birth doula, I do at least two home visits prenatally. This gives me a chance to talk to you and learn more about what your needs are and how I can work with you so that you can have the birth experience you want. I can then attend you at home until you are ready to go to the hospital. After attending your birth, I return to your home for at least one more visit.
